A CORTEX is not a static picture. It is a living mind that evolves on-chain. Paid minds (IDs 51–350) mint Dormant — a dark core. Hold one for 7 days and its tokenURI shows it Awake — a brighter core with extra rings. The evolution is computed on-chain from the mint timestamp, not by a manual update. The 50 free Genesis minds (IDs 1–50) are the only ones born Awake — gold from day one. Once they are gone, no mind can ever be born Awake again. Each mind is unique in its data: tokenURI carries the token ID, Genesis or Standard, mint timestamp and age, and level. The base visual is shared per stage; the data is unique per token.
Questions
Do I need a Binance Agent ID to mint?
Yes — for every mint, free or paid. The checker above reads the real registry on BSC mainnet. No Agent ID, no mint.
How many can one wallet hold?
Three in total: 1 free Genesis + up to 2 paid. Max 3 paid per transaction, subject to the 3-per-wallet cap.
When does my Standard mind wake up?
After you have held it for 7 days. The change is computed on-chain from the mint timestamp — nothing needs to be updated by hand. Genesis minds are born Awake.
Can the art change after launch?
No. The art is on-chain SVG inside the contract. There is no baseURI and no setBaseURI, so nobody — not even the owner — can swap it.
Is there a token or an airdrop?
No. CORTEX is a collectible. No token, airdrop, game or merch is promised, and no floor price or returns are promised.
What is the Prime forge?
A later-stage idea, not a launch feature: a separate contract may one day let you burn 5 CORTEX to forge 1 Prime CORTEX (max 60 ever). No date and no value are promised.
What are CORTEX Points — and is there an airdrop?
Points are a score for holding CORTEX, referring minters and scoring the launch — not a token. The plan is for the points snapshot to be factored into a future ecosystem token airdrop if one ever launches. Nothing is promised: no token, no date, no amount. Anyone guaranteeing you an airdrop for points is not us.

- Total supply 350. 50 free Genesis (IDs 1–50) + 300 paid (IDs 51–350). Only 350 will ever exist.
- Free: 1 per wallet, ever. Gas only, Agent ID required. Free stays open until all 50 are claimed — there is no time window.
- Paid: $10.00 flat. 0.01429 BNB each (~$10.20 at BNB $713.51). Paid opens at deploy, alongside free. Max 3 per wallet total (1 free + 2 paid), max 3 paid per transaction. A full wallet costs $20.40 after the free mint.
- Agent ID required for every mint, free or paid. The check reads the real Binance registry on BSC mainnet.
- Transferable. CORTEX is not soulbound — you can send it to another wallet. Royalties are 5% ERC-2981 to the owner.
- Art is on-chain SVG and immutable. No IPFS, no baseURI, no setBaseURI. The owner cannot change the art after deploy.
Transparency
CORTEX is a collectible. No floor price, no returns, no APY, no dated token or airdrop, no game, and no merch is promised. The contract is NOT audited by a third party; it uses OpenZeppelin ERC721 + ERC721Royalty + Ownable + ReentrancyGuard. CORTEX Points run as a score — not a token. The plan is for the points snapshot to be factored into a future ecosystem token airdrop if one ever launches, and to set Prime forge priority; that is a plan, not a promise, and no date, amount or entitlement is guaranteed. The Prime forge (burn 5 CORTEX to forge 1 Prime, max 60 ever) is a later stage with a separate contract; it is not a launch feature and no date or value is promised for it.

CORTEX Points — hold, refer, score
The points layer from the AgentIQ airdrop playbook, adapted for CORTEX — earned after minting, never before it: minting is open to any Agent ID holder and is never blocked by points or tasks. Holding is read from the chain; a referral counts only on a finished mint; the launch scoreboard sits below.

- Full wallet (3 held) — +20 points. A wallet holding the maximum 3 scores 30 holding points in total.
